There is with Mrs David Smith Moretta absolute consistency we can count on.
In her mind she’s never wrong but someone else is.
Given her complete lack of any sort of experience or expertise or knowledge, with the sole exception of chasing conspiracy theories, she’d have you believe everyone else is wrong.
I stand with the Chiefs.
You know I think I can simplify my position further for clarity. If the ucp or Danielle Smith support and propose a position you will know I oppose it.
I think a lot of Albertans are fully supportive of the First Nations. Now more than ever before. Danielle Smith is cruisin’ for a bruisin’. Guess this is her hill to die on.
I'm 72 years of age, a life time rural Albertan. Politically, I've been a very progressive (woke) conservative most of my voting life. But over the last 5 years, I've felt more like a disenfranchised conservative. I'm alarmed at the UCP's, and Smith's, current version of far right conservatism, and their attacks on our democracy. I've never felt so uneasy about Alberta's future then I'm now. I can't remember a time when Alberta politics felt this divided and unresponsive to the majority of voters. But, I'm even more alarmed by the UCP supporters who don't recognize the UCP attacks on their democratic, and constitutionally protected, rights and freedoms, often because of their ignorance in how our Canadian democracy, or the rule of law, really works, or even worse, because they do recognize the attacks but just don't care.
If you feel this way, then please do not be stuck at “party over people“… vote Liberal or NDP after researching which leader better suits your required leadership qualities. It's such common sense, don't you think?
How do you vote liberal in an Alberta provincial election without a Time Machine. Alberta Tory or NDP are the only centrist choices ( yes the Alberta NDP is really the Alberta Liberal party in an orange sweater, and probably the biggest tent party in Alberta provided Avi Lewis stays the fuck out of it. Wishful thinking.)
You are right, of course, that voting for the Liberals would be a wasted vote, but my point is not to be "trapped" into voting for the same party no matter what just becuase "that's how you have always voted"... what would be the benefit of that?
Not just a wasted vote, it's a vote that you likely can't make. Finding a liberal running for a provincial seat in Alberta has the same odds as winning 649.
Dictator Dani is not smart enough to understand Canadian constitutional law or process, but she wasn't good at process at the CBE or as a Wild Rose traitor so I don't why we should be expecting her to figure this out. Her English degree was seemingly VERY narrowly focused.
True. Or she just figures she’s another Trump and pushing through her own agenda not matter what while being egged on by her minions. Whatever it may be Albertans appear to be far more aware of her antics now.

Woke since 1955 and fucking proud of that fact.
So right!

I think I’m good with that Lori.
Done nothing for us, done everything to us! Mrs Moretta

😂👍
You’re not alone. We’ve got to support one another in this mess.
