So much of the media in Alberta is owner by US MAGA. The Alberta Federation of Labour has asked attendees to send them photos of the events thet attended of Thry took photos. CTV Calgary digital news might be a site to visit. CBC Calgary.
I just searched out the Global Edmonton story on the day of protest, and one thing that was obvious was that the news outlet's narrative clearly understated what their visuals showed. They referred to "hundreds" in Edmonton and "dozens" in Calgary, yet on screen the crowds were obviously much larger. You're right. It's an uphill battle against the media concentration/foreign control.
We saw most of the images on social media platforms from individual towns such as St Albert along with Calgary and Edmonton. But for an uphill battle with major media.
CTV stated thousands in Calgary re the videos I watched on CTV Calgary. Riley Park in Calgary was the biggest rally set up as it had the speakers, etc. and ran 3 hours.
For a communications person Smith closes ranks on accountability.

But that’s not reality. There are no updates, there are no good things happening, there is only increased downstream costs to us and increased incompetence in the handling of the affairs of the province.

We have seen a large amount of images online and with the media in the province. We didn’t use any for this article because of copyrights.
